Azorious "detention" deck.
This deck was kind of inspired by Imprisoned in the Moon. I never drew that card in Eldritch Moon, and I stumbled upon it while browsing for a similar card and was like, daaaamn, I can disable a planeswalker? That's freaking awesome. Not to mention how thematic the card is in turning a major threat into a land like how Emrakul got trapped in the silver moon.
So I thought about what I could do to try and keep with the theme and thought I could do an enchantment heavy "Pacifism" deck. I wanted to disable as many creatures as possible. Tapping for creatures that need to tap to do neat things (like stopping mana generating Elvish Mystics, etc), and "can't attack or block" (for freaking annihilators and crap), then a few more forgiving ones to be able to have a better mana curve. I wanted more Oppressive Rayss but I already ordered so many singles for this deck I decided to stop. Same with Overwhelming Splendor.
And yet I had the problem with figuring out how I'd win. I needed some life drain, some unstoppable creatures... or maybe some shenanigans? I threw in playsets of Approach of the Second Sun and Azor's Elocutors. Disabling creatures might help me be able to pop the elocutors. Second Sun might be a little harder to pop, but I could possibly stall long enough to play it again seven turns later.
And for backup, I decided to throw in some creatures that fit well in an enchantment deck for card draw and buff flyers.
And there we have it. I never bought so many singles for a deck before, and yet... I'm not terribly excited about this deck.
