Goal: Inflicting opponents with damage (although you are also sometimes included) and make sure that they burn out before you do.

Key Strategies:

• Burning down the house: Key sorceries and instants such as Subterranean Tremors, Blasphemous Act, Bonfire of the Damned, and Squall Line can deal the damage to players and creatures alike. Pyromancer's Goggles and Pyromancer's Gauntlet can increase the damage dealt by red sorceries and instants, giving you multiple ways to keep the battlefield clear and lower your opponent's life totals.

• Burnin' for You: Enchantments that double the damage dealt from red sources and those that punish opponents are a key functionality to the deck. Manabarbs, Furnace of Rath, Dictate of the Twin Gods, and Citadel of Pain are all notable inclusions. However, some can be a two way street, however, so it is important that you keep track of your life total and don't get clumsy when you're being aggressive.

• Stand and steal your fire: This deck is not creature heavy, but those that are included can put in work dealing damage to opponents and messing with their strategies. Of course, the creature that would be doing most of the work is the commander, Klothys, God of Destiny, most notably her second ability in which you can deal damage to every opponent and you gain two life. To prevent dying from your own spells as quickly as everyone else, equipping Basilisk Collar to Klothys when she is a creature can raise the typical two life that you gain life equal to the total damage that is dealt withe ability due to lifelink. Well of Lost Dreams can also provide card draw benefits when you gain life from Klothys. However, watch out for some of the enchantments that prevent all players from gaining life (specifically Sulfuric Vortex), for it can help deal extra damage to achieve the ultimate goal, but also blocks you from benefiting from part of Klothys' key ability.

(Note: There are definitely more proficient cards out there that can be added to the deck, but I wanted to keep prices on the lower end and I wasn't trying to break the bank when selecting cards)
