This is an alternative budget deck that takes advantage of the interactions between gaining counters, creatures that enter with counters like hydras or tribute creatures, or creatures who gain counters by sacrificing others or doubling them. This is also a budget deck so add Xenagos and Stormbreath dragon as you please.

Mistcutter Hydra - Comes into the field swinging. Comes in for exactly what you paid for it with Hardened Scales and can be doubled with Solidarity.

Satyr Hoplite - Cheap 1 drop with Heroic triggers that synergize incredibly well with Hardened Scales and of course Solidarity of Heroes. It can certainly surprise opponents and take out creatures that it wasn't supposed to with Coordinated Assault .

Satyr Grovedancer - 2 drop that becomes a lot more potent if Hardened Scales is active. It can apply it's counter on other targets as well.

Setessan Oathsworn - This guy comes in with 2x +1/+1 counters. That can escalate quickly...

Tuskguard Captain - What good is all of this power without trample? It is essentially the trample enabler, oh and it pops out counters.

Oracle of Bones - It either get's it's free spell, or comes in as 5/3 beast or more with Hardened Scales. It's a win/win for you. Especially useful if you have Become Immense in your hand and slap it on a creature and hopefully you will have Trample enabled from Tuskguard Captain.

Nessian Wilds Ravager - A massive lose/lose for the opponent. Either lose a creature or deal with a 12/12 or 13/13 next turn. It's also a hydra which means absolutely nothing but it sticks with the theme.

Scourge of Skola Vale - Tech for this deck. It generally comes in stronger with Scales active or it eats a creature. It can also be used to eat creatures that were going to bite the dust regardless. Phenomenal with Flame-wreath Phoenix

Spells:

Become Immense - Replacing Act of Treason after testing, it sat in m hand far too long for any useful combos. Trample get's enabled easily, so I figure this can be used as removal when you send a creature to it's death. Activate this, delve into cards that your opponent wasn't expecting to cast and knock out a threat. Also comes out for free if your opponent doesn't pay tribute for Oracle of Bones

Ordeal of Nylea - I had trouble growing creatures to their desired power with Coordinated Assault . Ideally I wanted to trigger heroic, however this does as well and it can benefit from Hardened Scales too to allow you to pull lands/thin the deck and possibly have a lot of counters with a Hardened Scales enabled Satyr Hoplite. 1. Heroic trigger 1/1 get +1/1 and another +1/1 from scales. 3/3; attacks, gains another 2x +1/+1. So it becomes a 5/5 and you thin the deck by 2 cards via land tutoring. It also works well with Solidarity to double counters.

Fall of the Hammer - There will be lots of power amongst my creature, this is an excellent way to maintain field dominance and ward off any pesky death touchers, the bane of this deck.

Hardened Scales - The cornerstone of this whole deck. With just one onboard it makes things very aggressive and tips the game in your favor.

Crater's Claws - The latest addition to this deck replaces Howl of the Horde . It just makes more sense as a finisher and with no shortage of creatures with 4 power, it could blast the opponents directly for the win.

Nature's Panoply - Applies +1/+1 counters, activates heroic and can be doubled with Solidarity of Heroes. Stacks well with Hardened Scales

Solidarity of Heroes - Just about everything in this deck has counters. Doubling counters can get...well escalated.

Sideboard:

It's designed around the lack anti-fliers in the main deck. Splash those Skyreaping in there and the birds get shot down. POW!

The second set of spells is designed against decks with heavy target removal. Slap on some 4x Ranger's Guile and 4x Mortal's Resolve. No problem no more! It's also slightly anti-control.

So it's Anti-Air, Anti-removal and Anti-control.
