Built around the "go-wide" strategy with Monastery Mentor and Young Pyromancer. Tons of spells to provide value along the way like Lingering Souls, Boros Charm, and Lightning Bolt. Monastery Swiftspear to help the deck's aggro plan, Prowess also has plenty of synergy with all the spells. Dark Confidant provides card advantage, its also good that the highest CMC in the maindeck is 3 so even if you hit the bigger stuff in the deck, it will likely just be a draw card engine. Fatal Push as an extra removal spell.

The sideboard is full of utility for multiple top tier matchups. Sorin, Solemn Visitor and Blessed Alliance are for burn, Sorin also has use for more grindy matchups against boardwipes and such. Pithing Needle for troubling Planeswalkers and other cards with strong activated abilities. Relic of Progenitus for graveyard decks and storm. Wear/Tear comes in as removal for either hate enchantments like Illness in the Ranks or Ghostly Prison. It also comes in for removal against artifact decks like affinity, Vandalblast also comes in for those matchups too. Surgical Extraction comes in for combo decks along with the removal card for those combo pieces. It also comes in to stop tron with Crumble to Dust to shut down tron lands. Path to Exile comes in when Lightning Bolt just isn't enough. Inquisition of Kozilek can also come in for combos with pieces CMC 3 or less, or just decks that more than 4 Thoughtseize are needed to keep ahead of removal.
