Sideboard

This deck is my current modern deck and sees very competitive play. It usually goes 3-1 at FNMs and sometimes 4-0. It can be very explosive usually with a turn 1 Hada Freeblade snd a turn 2 Akoum Battlesinger which allows you to attack for 5 damage on the spot which is nice especially if you can then give all your creatures lifelink or protection from a chosen color with Lantern Scout or Kabira Evangel. My main finisher for the deck is Munda, Ambush Leader which serves as a big hasty threat while also allowing one to plow through the deck to acquire more gas and repeat the cycle.

This deck can most likely be improved a lot with Cavern of Souls to replace the Unclaimed Territorys and possibly more effective side boarding options however this is what I have so far and am short on cash as of the moment. However this seems to be a good outline for anybody looking to play a budget friendly deck that is semi competitive. Speaking of budget the manabase for this deck is quite flexible as I used to play just basic lands and usually went 2-2; but if you do want to go all out with the manabase I would suggest 4 Ally Encampment because they server as both mana and creature protection however because this deck doesn't work like 5 color humans meaning that it isn't all creatures and There is quite a lot of removal in the deck I would suggest only running 2 or 3 cards like Cavern of Souls or Unclaimed Territory just so that you have the right mana to cast Path to Exile, Lightning Bolt, Boros Charm, and Gideon, Ally of Zendikar.

Now you might be wondering about the sideboard, I find that this deck has bad matchups against bogles (G/W hexproof), hollow one, and cheerios. So the Blessed Alliance usually help with bogles along with the cocky storm and cheerios player. Blood Moon generally works against non-red decks and usually control. Eidolon of Rhetoric is for cheerios and storm. Leyline of Sanctity is usually just for early game discard like Thoughtseize but I find helps with titan shift which this deck has a bad matchup against, however I find that the deck doesn't need to put it in for burn because it usually beats it anyway. Relic of Progenitus is good for delver, hollow one, storm, and lots more. Stony Silence for affinity. Wear for bogles, affinity, and hollow one. And Flame Slash for turn 1 or 2 hollow ones.

I've tried splashing green with Temple Garden to play Collected Company and it just didn't work, there are too many noncreature spells in the deck especially after sideboarding. You may also be wondering why I'm only playing one Mutavault, I only play one because it doesn't have much of an upside besides being a manland and occasionally getting pumped by Kabira Evangel and Akoum Battlesinger, but at the same time it sort of depletes from my mana base, just trust me I've tried playing more than one and it makes it pretty clunky.

My question here is that I think that my mana curve is too high, with 2 Gideon, Ally of Zendikar and 3 Munda, Ambush Leader, and I'm wondering if anyone has good cards to recommend that wouldn't raise my mana curve too high, Or do you just think that this deck is just good as it is?
