This is my attempt at a hard counter modern deck. Basically the deck is intended to just counter as many things with as little permission as possible until you can resolve a Kaho, Minamo Historian with (preferably) a Silence and Render Silent to 'lock out' your opponent, aswell as either the Lightning Bolt to remove smaller threats or serve as a potential win con, or the AEtherize to remove your opponents creatures from the field. The main win con for the deck is Rise from the Tides with a handful of counter spells in the grave.
