I loved the grixis control decks in modern so I thought I'd make a list for standard, focusing especially on the amount of kill spells currently in standard that make it nearly impossible for me to resist. With the improvise mechanic, it makes it that much cheaper and faster to cast spells, especially with ornithopers now back in standard! With that in mind, and the idea that there will be a lot of creature heavy decks in standard, i built the deck around kill spells at instant speed that could be flashed back with torrential gearhulk and then some other more midrange spells to keep me ahead of the game.
