This is a strict tribal deck, so only Vampire creature types were considered for the creatures. This also includes all current versions of Sorin.

One notable combo included is the pairing of Exquisite Blood and Sanguine Bond which will infinitely drain all opponents' life once triggered by your lifegain or an opponent taking damage.

There are some limited sacrifice/death matters and sacrifice outlet cards included. For example: Sorin, Imperious Bloodlord, Butcher of Malakir, Cordial Vampire, Yahenni, Undying Partisan, or Black Market.

There are also a few lifegain matters cards included, since a number of creatures in the deck have built-in Lifelink. For example: Sanguine Bond, Bloodbond Vampire, or Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose

Due to all of the included creatures being Vampires, Anowon, the Ruin Sage should only ever affect your opponents. (If you are stealing creatures from your opponents with Captivating Vampire, they get the Vampire type added, so they would also be immune to the effect).

Revel in Riches was included as a possible alternate win condition.

If you wanted to switch it up, instead of running Edgar, Charmed Groom   as the Commander, either Elenda, the Dusk Rose or Vona, Butcher of Magan could take his place.
