Maybeboard

There were 3 design goals with this deck:

  1. Make a deck that my opponents like to play against.

  2. Gain a very large amount of life, but not infinite.

  3. Stand a reasonable chance to win the game.

This list has absolutely smashed it out of the park for me. If you like to go BIG, and you like crazy interactions and unpredictable games, this deck is right for you. I have yet to play a game with this deck that was even remotely normal, the card draw from Selvala, Explorer Returned does things to a game. Design goal 3 is also met for you spiky players too, the ramp makes the deck more powerful than you might expect.

The record for me is about 2.8 million life. However, the record non-infinite life total I have ever seen was by an opponent with a clone deck. They made 10 Verdant Sun's Avatar and 10 Serra Avatar . By my estimate, that leaves a life total no lower than 500*2^100 = 6.33*10^32, roughly the number of protons in 5 fully loaded 747's.
