Current as of Modern Horizons- (14 June 2019)

I built this version as a fast and relatively consistent way of taking advantage of Jhoira's ability to draw cards. As such, almost half of the deck is artifacts (43 spells, plus 3 artifact lands); most of which cost very little to cast, cantrip by itself, or both. The highest CMC in this deck is 5 and the whole deck curves at under 2 CMC, so it can be very quick to play.
The primary way the deck wins is to use Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain and/or Riddlesmith in combination with cost reducers and cheap, often cantripping artifacts to draw out the whole deck and win with Laboratory Maniac or Jace, Wielder of Mysteries . There is also Mirrodin Besieged (Phyrexian Mode), which is both a backup plan for boardwipes or can be secretly setup up and dropped to start eliminating players. And finally, Reckless Fireweaver can be used to ping out all of your opponents.
Some of the most important cards in the deck are the cost reducers. Etherium Sculptor , Foundry Inspector , Herald of Kozilek , Cloud Key , and Jhoira's Familiar can reduce the cost of the artifacts you play by and Semblance Anvil can reduce the cost by . All of these stack with each other, so two or more of these in play really snowball this deck.

There is also a considerable amount of ramp. There are 10 mana rocks: Astral Cornucopia , Everflowing Chalice , Sol Ring , Fellwar Stone , Fractured Powerstone , Izzet Signet , Mind Stone , Prismatic Lens , Talisman of Creativity , and Thought Vessel . Additional ramp includes: Paradise Mantle and Springleaf Drum to turn your utility creatures into mana dorks, Wayfarer's Bauble for land ramp, the flipped side of Storm the Vault  is a legal version of Tolarian Academy , and Krark-Clan Ironworks to convert artifacts into even more mana.

Fabricate and Tezzeret the Seeker can find any artifact in the deck, and the three mages ( Trinket Mage , Tribute Mage , Trophy Mage ) can search for 0-1, 2, and 3 CMC artifacts respectively. With Trinket Mage you should probably grab Sol Ring or Sensei's Divining Top, and with the other two you will almost always want to tutor for cost reducers first, unless you're getting something that allows you to go off that turn.

Because of Jhoira's ability (and the redundancy of Riddlesmith) it isn't necessary to run dedicated draw cards. Additionally, there are about a dozen artifacts that cantrip on their own, to help draw through the deck faster.

There are four counters ( Swan Song , Rites of Refusal , Delay , Arcane Denial ) and two spot removal spells ( Rapid Hybridization , Reality Shift ) to help keep you alive and protect you so you can go off, all of which cost 2 or less.

-Remember that Storm the Vault  triggers on End Step, so try not to drop it unless it will flip that same turn.

-The three bounce spells ( Hurkyl's Recall , Rebuild , Paradoxical Outcome ) and Sensei's Divining Top can help if you start to run out of gas.

- Ancestral Statue can bounce itself, which is very handy with a few cost reducers to make it cheaper/free.

-The draw trigger on Jhoira is not optional.

-All planeswalkers are legendary now, so they are also considered historic.

-Don't forget that Seat of the Synod , Great Furnace , and Darksteel Citadel are not spells, so they will not trigger Jhoira, Riddlesmith, or Artificer's Assistant .

- Rites of Refusal is a great way to instantly meet the requirement for Mirrodin Besieged (Phyrexian mode) that not a lot of people will see coming.

-The Proliferate on Throne of Geth can put counters on Astral Cornucopia , Everflowing Chalice , Tendo Ice Bridge , both planeswalkers, and give you additional energy counters for Aether Hub .

-You can mill yourself with Codex Shredder but I primarily use it as a deterrent for top of the library tutors.

A lot of the following suggestions are on the expensive side, but if you aren't concerned about budget these can potentially upgrade the deck:

-The counterspell suite could be improved with free/alternate cast spells like Pact of Negation , Force of Will , and Force of Negation . Additionally, Mana Drain is a great include in this deck.

-The manabase can be upgraded with better mana rocks like Mana Crypt , Mox Amber , Mox Diamond , Mox Opal , Mana Vault , and Grim Monolith . The now un-banned Metalworker is an incredible mana dork in this build. Volcanic Island , Scalding Tarn , and Mishra's Workshop would all be in here if I had copies available.

- Retract is great and it will probably find a home in here when I can get a copy of it.

- Intuition is an incredibly powerful tutor.

- Vedalken Orrery might be worth the include, but Shimmer Myr does the same job on everything except (a few) cards, for 1 less.

If you have any thoughts, suggestions for cards I may have missed, or questions please feel free to leave a comment. Thank you! :)
