Maybeboard

The idea is to punish your opponent for having creatures enter the battlefield and then make tons of creatures enter the battlefield under their control.

This is just an idea I'm kicking around, in the hopes of making an unconventional and fun deck. Suggestions are encouraged and welcome!

Suture Priest, Blood Seeker, and Tainted AEther put the hurt on opponents for creatures entering the battlefield.

Forbidden Orchard, Hunted Phantasm, and to a less reliable extent Genesis Chamber put creatures on their side of the field.

Ratchet Bomb and Black Sun's Zenith to take care of the tokens you give them.

Let's not forget Hunted Phantasm is a 4/6 unblockable for three mana. Combined with Creeping Tar Pit they could add some serious unblockable damage.

Soul Warden and Soul's Attendant because of how many creatures are coming out. I'm not crazy about how they take up 8 slots.

Mana base definitely needs work, so suggestions on that as well are appreciated. Some other thoughts in the maybeboard, but I didn't want to go too much more than 3 color. Let me know if you have any ideas.

Thanks!

Updates Add

I was inspired by Pain Has An Element Of Blank to revisit this and it's working a lot better now. Some notable changes:

Illness in the Ranks: I wasn't too keen on this in the earlier build, but it's a permanent/more effective way of dealing with the 1/1s I'm giving out. Plus, works great in conjunction with...

Blood Artist: This guy puts in a ton of work, basically becoming copies 9-12 of Suture Priest and Blood Seeker.

Illness in the Ranks also works great with...

Mercy Killing! With the illness out it destroys one of their creatures and with my pain package it will likely hurt them quite a bit in addition. I'll probably gain some life as well!

With the addition of Illness in the Ranks I don't need Echoing Truth or ratchet bomb as much, except for the centaurs my Hunted Horror makes. Also pared down the soul sisters.

Keep it coming, this is turning out to be a lot of fun! Thanks for all the suggestions already (but now they're gooooone).
