Some of my friends decided we should each make a mono colored tribal EDH deck for fun, I'm going with green hydras! :) I would have liked to use a hydra as my commander, but Selvala was clearly better than Polukranos, who was my only option for a legendary green hydra. I just threw this deck together online with cards I'd like to include, but I'll probably end up budgeting back quite a bit when I get around to actually putting it together. The basic idea is to use Selvala paired with Staff of Domination, Thousand-Year Elixir, Umbral Mantle, or Wirewood Lodge to make an obscene amount of mana and cast some ridiculously large hydras. The staff and Mantel can make infinite mana when paired with Selvala!
