My goal with this deck was to make a somewhat interesting to play deck with an obvious focus on the Kamigawa spirits. The main objective is to negate casting costs and find our legendary spirits fast with Lifespinner. All our top ends are legendary spirits so we can potentially get them out by turn 4. Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker and Sekki, Seasons' Guide are the main legendary spirits that we want with one another. Because Sekki losses counters when it takes combat damage if it dies in this way Shirei will simply return Sekki to the field as it died as a 0/0. Because of how Sekki functions as long as he had more than 1 toughness he will stay on the field and can produce more tokens. This is the reason for Spider Umbra and Hero's Blade. If the opponent does kill Sekki Shirei can bring him back still. This will give us tokens everytime our opponent decides to attack. If Shirei works out Kodama of the Center Tree can get easily out of hand as we will have a ton of spirit tokens. Ashen-Skin Zubera and Dripping-Tongue Zubera can also get into some shenanigans creating 1/1 tokens and forcing discard. If they died while Shirei was on the board they will also simply come back for more and are therefore perfect sacrifices for our sacing with Lifespinner. Oyobi, Who Split the Heavens because its a 3/6 that spawns more 3/3 spirit tokens with flying. Given that all the creatures are spirits (except sideboard deadeye) this will go off quite a bit. Spider Umbra can buff up our important creatures while also keeping them safe. Elder Pine of Jukai for finding lands if needed. Disowned Ancestor is mainly there for an early blocker and because I don't know what else to put in that slot. Honden of Life's Web and Honden of Night's Reach work together for even more tokens and hand hate for each turn our opponent doesn't take care of them. The rest is a bit more hand hate with Distress and board control with Putrefy and Go for the Throat.

For the sideboard there are some semi-board wipes with Bile Blight. Wear Away mainly for enchantments or if the opponent really likes artifacts. Deadeye Tracker if they like to use their graveyard a lot. I almost didn't put him in because he isn't a spirit but since he's in the sideboard I let myself do it. Duress for obvious reasons. Thief of Hope if we need the life gain, it deals damage as well as a bonus.

I wanted to keep the deck as cheap as possible given it will probably be the first deck I buy. I'm new to deck building and MTG in general so I don't know about a lot of cards, combos, or counters so please make suggestions. I really want to keep the creatures focused in Kamigawa block but if they'll help the deck a lot I might add them.

Updates Add

Added Spider Umbra for extra protection for Shirei, Sekki, Lifespinner. Also added Hero's Blade for Sekki after a recommendation from Scion of Darkness. Thanks again.
