Sometimes a card get's released and you just want to use it in whatever format it can work well. Brewing it in Modern seemed to be fruitless and with the unfortunate trend of people playing EDH more competitive, i thought i would build a deck that is a bit more suited for 1V1 play. Still it can do moderately well in group play, it does have a few alternative win-cons in Laboratory Maniac and Mirroden Besieged but for the most part you are focusing assault against a single opponent per turn by shapeshifting Lazav strategically to put your opponents away via Commander Damage or a single hit of Infect. Deck is very vunerable to graveyard hate and makes opponents pretty nervous as it really is efficient at killing a single opponent from out of the blue, but it really can't defend well from a nervous group of opponents teaming against you for fear of being your next target.
