I have been trying to build a competitive Mill Deck with Sphinx's Tutelage and Startled Awake   for what seems like forever, but they always test slow, especially in this standard format. I am trying again. This time U/R instead of Dimir or (G/U, Mono U) Blues Clues. At one point I even went as far to make it a Grixis, and to be honest it did really well...if you pulled the land. I needed more removals, so why not throw in some burns. The side board has improved as well. The decks I have the most issues with is R/B Madness. I may get one but rarely two so I added Lightning Axe to the side board. Any suggestions would be great as I test this improved version Friday. Several times I have milled decks by turn 7 or 8, and a few storm offs. Luckily, everyone I have played seems to have forgotten Orbs of Warding . Phew
