This is my Treva, the Renewer Deck it is a voltron strategy. What I like to do is play the commander and hook up my awesome equipment, and then try to hit someone for 21 commander damage. I like to use Blackblade Reforged to boost its power and toughness. It just takes a couple of turns to get set up. hopefully there are some low drop spells in your opening hand so your not just doing nothing to start. I also try to make it unblockable so they have to take the damage with Rogue's Passage or similar cards i have in here. When you hit a player for i like to gain the life with Treva's ability, it comes in handy when you fall behind on life.
