This is a variation of the newly popular Sultai Energy deck with a Blue splash for cards like The Scarab God, Rogue Refiner, and Hostage Taker.

While those cards are excellent in this format, Verdurous Gearhulk is such an explosive threat hat it is hard for me to take it out. I've also made another change (because I like spice) and have added Herald of Secret Streams. Making all creatures with +1/+1 counters on them unblockable allows for quick wins out of the blue.

I believe that this deck can be an exciting variant of a competitive deck in Ixalan standard and I want to know what you think! Thanks for stopping by!
