There's something irresistibly charming about a deck with 7 lands that can win on turn 4. Being super cheap to build also helps (I think the sideboard represents half the cost of the whole list). Leaning how to solve the puzzle of sequencing your plays for the best value is a interesting intellectual exercise.

I did take it to FNM for a test drive... and only won 1 game all night. The deck is very exciting and interesting to play, but if you randomly don't draw any copies of Goblin Charbelcher or Fabricate then your only game plan is attacking with Chancellor of the Tangle . That's a very good creature to be able to play on turn 4, but without evasion or a natural defensive ability, it doesn't last long on the battlefield.
