My take on modern, featuring the modular mechanic! I like that even when your creatures die, they still give so much value. Suggestions welcome! Guidance needed.

CARD BREAKDOWN

creatures:

Arcbound ravager: The hinge of the deck. A reliable sac outlet which can pump itself or other value creatures.

Arcbound worker: Surprisingly good 1/1 creature. You might be thinking it's just another cruddy chump blocker, but you'd be wrong. With certain cards on the board, this enters as a 3/3+ and has modular to boot!

Hangarback walker/Walking ballista: Win cons. With modular, they get big fast. Swing tall then sac for value, or pump them until they have the power to single-handedly deal lethal damage. Walker gives you tons of creatures on death. Ballista, while fragile, can deal damage without having to attack, and can be sacrificed for pings if needed.

Metallic mimic: A creature that buffs all your constructs as they enter. Put in instead of Steel Overseer, as that one was much too slow.

Other Artifacts:

Animation module: A sink for your extra mana. Its servo ability comes in handy for untapped lands, and can be used often. Servos can be sacked to ravager or throne of geth for value, or used as blockers. Counter maker doesn't hurt either if you've got no other options.

Throne of Geth: A sac outlet for any unneeded mini bots to buff all your modular creatures. Also helps to sac Hangarback walker when it's big enough!

Welding jar: So elegantly simple. A card which sacs itself to save your modulars. Ravager died? Regenerate it, you've got extra counters and your buddy back. Great common.

The Ozolith: Surprising new addition! Basically doubles your counters when a modular creature dies. See ozolith rules for more in depth explanation.

Spells:

Ancient stirrings: Grab whatever you need, whether that's a creature or more importantly, a land.

Hardened scales: Your best friend. PLay it turn 1 when possible. It makes everything in your deck more formidable.

Lands:

Bit of a mixed basket here. There's a land for everything. Phyrexia for sac, nurtured peatland for draw, pendelhaven to save your poor 1/1's and more. Bit of a work in progress. Darksteel citadel and glimmervoid likely the next to be changed, depending on play. Remember Inkmoth is a viable win-con! Counters on your inkmoth are very good indeed.

Sideboard:

Pretty typical stuff here. Chalice can be proliferated as needed to counter your opponents things. Grafdigger's cage is a graveyard hate card which fits the deck and doesn't hurt play too much. Dismember your opponent's biggest threats if needed. Damping sphere for Tron, Storm and other insane mana-pumping decks.

See the maybeboard for extra prospective additions. Please let me know if I'm missing anything!

UPDATED: -1 metallic mimic, -1 animation module, -1 spellskite +3 ozolith. Increased synergy
