Sideboard

This is a deck that takes advantage of the ability of Hollow One to get played for free if you have discarded/cycled 3 cards in a turn as well as Flameblade Adept who has some nice evasion with Menace and can become huge off of discarding/cycling cards.

Your primary win con is an early game Hollow One(s) You have two four of discard spells which you can play turn one. 1:Faithless Looting gives your control over what you discard but is one shy of turn one Hollow One, but comes with the additional upside of having flashback. 2:Burning Inquiry, this draws you deeper, gets you the discard you need for Hollow One on turn one, the issue is this spell has you discard at random, meaning you can and will discard the cards you want to keep. The final piece of getting you to turn one Hollow One is Street Wraith. The life cost for cycling means that you can finish off a Faithless Looting with this play and have the requisite discarding/cycling accomplished for your Hollow One. Because of the way Hollow One is worded the discarding/cycling you do is not limited to a single copy. On any turn you have discarded/cycled 3+ cards Hollow One is free, turns out a 4/4 on turn one is pretty good!

The other strong turn one play you can make is Flameblade Adept. This creature on turn two, in a perfect scenario, can swing in for as much as 11! Realistically, it'll be between 4 and 7 power, which is still nothing to sneeze at.

The last piece of your discard package is Goblin Lore this is nice because it digs you a card deeper and only effects you. With decks like Phoenix, Dredge, and Storm out there who love having things put in their graveyard this is a fantastic way to give yourself a one-sided advantage.

Because this deck spends so much of its time discarding cards it helps to have things you want to have in your graveyard. Bloodghast and Flamewake Phoenix are these cards for this deck.

Bloodghast is an extremely recursive threat which in the end game will be coming in the turn it comes down.

This deck thrives of big, cheap creatures. Because of that, a Flamewake Phoenix in the graveyard will almost always trigger.

Your last finisher is Gurmag Angler. Your graveyard will get packed very fast so most often you'll pay B and get him down.

Finally, there is a 1 of Bedlam Reveler in the main board, this helps you reload, for the most part, sometimes it will power up your Flameblade Adept but for the most part, it helps you put more gas in the tank. (Honestly, the better choice for this slot is Liliana of the Veil. I am sharing my current list, as soon as I have the cash for a LiliVeil I'll be getting one, but for now, there's a Bedlam Reveler keeping her seat warm.

I've also put in a Hogaak, Arisen Necropolis for now to playtest.)

Additionally, there is a one of Collective Brutality and Fatal Push in the Main Board for value, Collective Brutality also has the added bonus of causing you to discard for its escalate cost. Also for value, 4x Lightning Bolt, good for removal and closing out games.

As far as lands go, 4xBloodstained Mires to fetch our what you need, most often that'll be one of your 4xBlood Crypts, but sometimes you need green for your sideboard tech so you also have 1 Stomping Ground and 1 Overgrown Tomb. Your 4xBlackcleave Cliffs are essential early game fast mana. Your basics come in the form of 3x Mountain and 1x Swamp

Sideboard:

1x Fatal Push for Humans, GDS, and other small CMC creature decks

1x Collective Brutality for Burn, and additional hand deconstruction.

2x Blood Moon for value, so many modern decks don't run all that many basic lands so you can sometimes get a free win by windmilling a this.

2x Assassin's Trophy is all-purpose removal.

2x Ratchet Bomb for decks with tokens as well as decks like The Rock and Boggles with many permanents at the same CMC.

3x Ravenous Trap hits your Phoenix, Dredge, and Storm opponent's graveyard out of nowhere.

4x Thoughtseize picks apart your opponent's hand
