Wild Mongrel is holding you back.

I took a lot of deck philosophy from Kuldotha Decks with this brew. One of the things that makes kuldotha so flexible is that it's a proactive midrange control deck with burn spells that focuses on removing threats, then using it's own evasive creatures to close the game, while drawing lots of cards. This deck focuses on doing the same thing, but instead of relying on artifacts to grind out value, we focus on utilizing madness spells and discarding to effects to cheat additional value out of our cards.

To that effect, Pulse of Murasa is an incredibly strong card here, as it allows us to move a bit slower in the beginning of the game, and come back on life later after dealing with the threats on the board, while either buying back one of our own threats we traded earlier, or grabbing another land via Evolving Wilds.
