Sideboard

Powerful but cheap creatures lead the charge before angels take control of the skies. Also, a lot of lightning.

The goal here is to play high-value creatures early, like the fast-hitting Monastery Swiftspear, or Boros Reckoner punching well above his weight. Truefire Paladin offers a potent mix of offensive and defensive capabilities, and Soulfire Grand Master gives offensive spells such as Lightning Bolt Lifelink and the chance to be played more than once if needed. After a few turns, Firemane Avengers can make each combat round extra painful with what is essentially a free helix. Cards like Archangel Avacyn   and Legion's Initiative provide buffs and protection against board-wipes in a pinch, with Avacyn threatening damage to the whole board later on. Once the game hits six mana, Aurelia can drive home the win. Chandra, Torch of Defiance and Ajani Vengeant offer damage, board control and the potential to either turn every spell into a burn spell or take away the opponent's lands. Cheap removal options round out the spells in this deck, designed to either clear the opponent's field of defenders or add the finishing touch to a final blow.

The side deck here covers enchantment/artifact removal, for decks where you can't just ignore them and swing for the opponent's face, and Deflecting Palms for when it'd be a shame if their Hydra got confused about who to hit. Rest in Peace keeps opponents' fingers out of both their graveyard and yours, and Planar Cleansing handles overwhelming numbers, while either Legion's Initiative or Boros Charm can keep your creatures on the field. Warleader's Helix covers some things that Lightning Helix can't finish, for those times when one extra point of damage/healing is worth the increased cost, and Aurelia's Fury is both thematic and useful for clearing up troublesome defenders. Gisela can be brought in as a costly but powerful creature if needed.

It's worth noting that this is an actual paper deck, and is updated based on what cards I have physically available. Suggestions are much appreciated. This is my favorite deck that I own and I'm always looking for ways to improve.
