The creatures in this deck rely heavily on the instant and sorcery spells you cast. But getting them out early just means they'll get bigger as the game progresses. Pteramander can be out by turn 1 as an early blocker, boosting it later in the game for only an island. Enigma Drake & Spellheart Chimera can be out by turn 3 and Crackling Drake by turn 4. The achilles heel of these deck builds is usually graveyard emptying abilities like Sentinel Totem but thankfully this doesn't impact Crackling Drake . Direct damage spells like Shock can go over the top of any creature defense they have. Spite of Mogis & Beacon Bolt can work well as creature removal to clear a path, the latter two becoming very cheap for the damage they deal as early as turn 4 or 5. Unsummon helps clear a path for your fliers to get through and Fling helps you get over the top if needed. Both also boosting your creatures in the process. Opt can get you to those much needed creatures quicker whilst giving them power when they're out.
