Instead of choosing more popular options for reanimation decks in the format such as Meren of Clan Nel Toth or Karador, Ghost Chieftain with more flexibility from more colors but Chainer, Dementia Master is interesting in the fact that he has an activated ability that cheats your targets mana cost and is able to do it more than once each turn. It gets especially brutal when you can bring out Kokusho, the Evening Star or Grey Merchant of Asphodel. It's a fairly simple reanimator shell focused on getting value to overcome my foes.
