Delve into Modern with no other than the best printed Zombie Fish in Magic History!

Ok- Maybe I'm overselling it- but this guy is a Savage and often will run away with the game as he can be played very efficiently as a large threat while holding back a flurry of counter spells and control for your pesky opponent!

Updates Add

Well I've made some MAJOR Updates to my deck the sideboard has completely evolved along with the land base have both radically changed. I'm also no longer running Dark Confidant for obvious reasons!

Any ways for the last three week I've been going to Modern Night at my LGS to try and learn how to play this deck with more and more proficiency. Well the first two weeks I went 1-3 But this Saturday!

Game 1 Elves 2-1

Game one he managed to keep spitting out more and more elves I conceded after keeping a greedy 5 land hand and drawing into lands for a while. Game two my opponent was guessing with side boarding as he had seen very little of my deck managed to pick up a relatively aggro kill with delvers and t2 tasigurs. Game three was unideal for the elves player he had me at a low life total two Cavern of Souls one on elves the other on beast and about 13 elves. He had no favorable attacks as my 4 creatures could block then present lethal on the backswing. Young Pyromancer slowly pulled me out of the ditch with incremental advantage. He still couldn't find Craterhoof Behemoth for the win. I flipped a delver and beat elves in the air on our first turn of extra turns after time in the round.

Game 2 4c Gifts 2-1

Well I was paired down and was playing against a good friend of mine who had recently made a gifts deck. We tested our decks countless times, and I knew I wasn't favored, my only way of winning is to aggro and beat him by turn 4-6 or he just takes over in the late game. Game one I turn 1 delver into turn 2 flip subsequent turns I beat down counter and he was at eleven life and I had three bolts in hand I shot them off even Vapor Snag'd a Lingering Souls he was at 2 life. I was out of gas and creatures on board I knew it was bad, we were in the late game now. He reanimated his Iona, Shield of Emeria and made quick justice of the Zombie fishes and my life total. Game 2 I delver flip into turn 2 Tasigur, the Golden Fang and with the help of a Lightning Bolt and Kolaghan's Command made swift justice of him. Game 3, Ok this is for all the marbles, just breath and throw zombie fish at his face. I turn one delver even get down a Pyromancer and then it happens, gulp, he drops Kor Firewalker turn 4 turn 5 double Lingering Souls flash back, yep I almost conceded right there. But I turn after turn got the pyromancer triggers and managed to kill him with elementals!

Game 3 Infect 2-1

Well from experience I've played all kinds of infect variants from budget to pimped out at my old LGS so I seemed to know their deck inside and out but have never actually played delver vs Infect matchup. Game one I died to a Become Immense on a Blighted Agent. Well put in the entire hate package and managed to maneuver and bluff my way for the first few turns until I hit my Spellskite which made it very hard for him to win. I built of my board on the following turns using Young Pyromancer until I had a army and delver beats to kill him. Well game 3 I drew a Spellskite in my opening hand which helped me stabilize and make it to the late game where I had two Pyromancers and ten plus tokens who helped make a win for the Zombie Fish Nation!

Game 3 Naya Burn 0-2

Well both games I'm lost pretty miserably due to my lack of experience in the matchup and playing against a very well experience opponent but Hey! I got to play in the finals so that was cool! I essentially lost to Monastery Swiftspear, Goblin Guide, Lava Spike, and Searing Blaze. Both games were pretty quick too. My opponent also gave me some advice towards sideboarding for game 2 next time around.

Well I got 3rd overall and ten packs so I'm not complaining! Loved to play the deck I've been Pondering converting my current deck into a grixis twin as the only parts I need currently are the exarchs and Pestermites please tell me what you think!
