I built this deck many years ago, in 2014 I believe, and it was my very first Commander deck. As a new MTG player at the time, I was excited by the concept of slivers and how they got more and more powerful for each one that was one the battlefield.

The deck started with Sliver Overlord, but quickly found it wasn't enjoyable. At 5 mana he was already expensive to cast, but then he required additional mana for his ability. I found that any amount of removal was used immediately thus rendering him useless. Unfortunately, slivers have a much tougher time without a commander on the field so I dropped Sliver Overlord in favor of Sliver Legion.

Over time, the mana base has improved significantly and I've made a few minor improvements such as better tutors. However, the deck overall is still the same aggressive sliver deck it always was. My collection has expanded far beyond this deck and my favorite playstyle and colors have become more specific, but this deck is still fun to play and always catches people off guard.

This deck has no hidden tricks and is strictly build around smashing face. It may not be highly competitive, but in even somewhat casual field, it's potent. Sometimes you just want to play creatures and attack and that is something this deck does well.

Sliver Legion is great because he has an immediate impact when he hits the field. Even if your slivers don't have haste, pumping all your slivers the turn he enters is huge. Given that from turns 1-4 you've been playing other effects like flying, first strike, or shroud, your small sliver army suddenly becomes magnitudes stronger.

I've won countless games with this deck due to the large bonus that Sliver Legion gives all your slivers. The sliver randomness makes each game fun and unique, and it's hard for your opponents to mad when you kill them with 50+ first strike, lifelink, vigilance, and flying damage.

One of the easiest ways for this deck to win is via unblockable damage. There are several effects in the deck which help with that and it really does make top-deck scenarios frightening for the enemy. It's quite common to deal lethal damage in one turn with the right pump or unblockable effect off the top.
