Ramp up as quickly as possible with Sol Ring and Dark Ritual and use that mana to either play Kokusho, the Evening Star or Yawgmoth's Bargain .
Yawgmoth's Bargain keeps your hand full at the expense of life, which is fueled by Exsanguinate and Kokusho, the Evening Star . Early game consists of creatures that punish on death, Sacrifice d for mana to play finishers. The deck can still be combo with Yawgmoth's Bargain , but is less unfair than it used to be.
Apparently, this deck is not casual legal. According to tapped out, Vindictive Lich is on the casual banlist, as it is far too broken, unlike the other 3 ( Demonic Tutor , Sol Ring , and Yawgmoth's Bargain ) that keep this from legacy And vintage.
