The deck is a bit of a one-track deal, as packing any interaction makes the cascades far less impactful. the good news is that nobody else's removal or board clears matter, as long as you keep ramping enough to cast the value engine himself.

This deck was de-moneyed for a trip that I went on, I wanted to have a deck that was worth less than $300 to take with me.

It's obviously been somewhat re-moneyed, (LED and such,) but its not the original list. It's still missing the Ancient Tomb, which is in another deck now. I'd add that back in, along with swapping Explosive Vegetation for Pir's Whim, as it's good to be able to grab High Market or Command Beacon. I may even add Tempt With Discovery. The land base itself could use some TLC, like a couple of fetches/shocks and a Prismatic Vista.
