Intro

A pure control deck with Planeswalkers and gearhulks for finishers. Jeskai can still be a control deck but it is primarily a combo deck now. Grixis is great due to the access of radiant flames and Yahanni expertise. I went with Esper for better board wipes and artifact removal. Any comment will be answered by me and thank you for taking time to check out the best control deck in standard.

R/W or Mardu Vehicles

With copter now banned, this deck has weakened slightly but it will still be flying around. Heart of Kiran will probably replace copter and everything else should stay the same.

R/G or W/G hexproof

These decks will be great due to strong green creatures and powerful pump spells. Oath of Ajani looked good but only time will tell if it will even be used.

Jeskai Saheeli

A half control/combo deck. The combo works by having both Saheeli and felidar guardian on the field then having Saheeli -2 to make unlimited 1/4 tokens with haste. Probably going to be the most popular deck in the meta so be sure to have answers in your sideboard for this deck.
