The goal of this deck is to use combos with Primordial Hydra and Kalonian Hydra for big beaters and lots of +1/+1 Counters.

WIN CONDITIONS:

1) Some big Siege Rhino//Kalonian Hydra can take out most creatures and trample will do the trick :)

2) Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord + Kalonian Hydra and Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord + Siege Rhino will ruin health totals, and ensure a win even if my creatures are incapacitated.

Siege Rhino is a neccesary card to help establish some control of the game and your own life total.

Sheltering Word saves my life total, and a creature.Whip of Erebos lest me last in longer games, and use its recursion ability to Kalonian Hydra + Whip of Erebos for 8 trample and lifelink. Siege Rhino + Whip of Erebos for another 6 point swing. So many possibilities!

To hold the fort in wait for the mid game, ramp cards help speed up the waiting time, cards like Birds of Paradise//Noble Hierarch//Sylvan Caryatid. fleshing out the creatures come the manlands: Stirring Wildwood and Treetop Village, and a trio of Lingering Souls.

I run 5 spot removal cards and 2x Maelstrom Pulse for mass removal. Thoughtseize//Inquisition of Kozilek helps with hand control. and remove potential threats.
