Let's start with a poem.

Death is only an old door
Set in a garden wall
On gentle hinges it gives, at dusk
When the thrushes call
Along the lintel are green leaves
Beyond the light lies still;
Very willing and weary feet
Go over that sill
There is nothing to trouble any heart;
Nothing to hurt at all.
Death is only a quiet door.
In an old wall.

-Death Is A Door by Nancy Byrd Turner

This meta is lit with control spells, planeswalkers, gods, and just a host of mean crap. Get over it. This deck has all of that and then some though to help you. Mono-red will basically collapse to the deck. Grixis Midrange might give you a run for your money but you can overwhelm them. Esper Control might be your hardest fight, but since you run all the recursion in the world and a decent sideboard, you're fine. Bant Midrange might be the fight of a lifetime, but again, we have solid answers to their style of play as well. Honestly facing yourself might just be the hard part of this kind of deck, it'll be a damn grind.

On the topic of recursion; it just so happens we have that in spades. We run three copies of Find / Finality and two copies of Storrev, Devkarin Lich as recursion options. Whilst dear Tamiyo isn't here for optimal recursion, she's not here to muck up our purity for God-Eternal Oketra either. The other top end in the deck Liliana, Dreadhorde General really allows us a solid bit of card draw. I pondered a third copy of her, but she's just too pricey at six mana. Shalai, Voice of Plenty still is there as a to-be flashed in savior. She works like a counterspell if you do it right. She catches a lot of people off-guard. Thanks to Oketra Growth-Chamber Guardian and your mana dorks also have a HUGE relevance. Vivien, Champion of the Wilds solidly answers the need for cards, and also gets you that flash option I brag about. She's the hottest. The four copies of Assassin's Trophy are main deck for a reason, don't fuck with those in this meta, they are insanely potent. They hit things like Blast Zone , Search for Azcanta  , any enchantment like Wilderness Reclamation as well as any piece of shit named Teferi. Yes, if you're reading my write-ups, you know I think he can just fuck right off, or tuck himself as the Tolarian professor says.

The rest of the sideboard is self-explanatory really. You have a nuke button, which only benefits you thanks to recursion and Liliana. Anti-control countermeasures are in place. You also have some neat exile cards like Despark that kind of make Vraska's Contempt somewhat obsolete. Tithe Taker is a great anti-control measure, and should be boarded in for the control match up. The two copies of The Elderspell will handle the current infection of Superfriends decks running around like college students breeding in Alabama. Just abort all that nonsense and ult Lili if you get the chance with it. It's gratifying. Lyra Dawnbringer was brought on mainly b/c I don't want to go soft on mono-red. Flashing her in on top of Viv is simply the girl on girl ship from heaven. Storrev can just watch.

I've done some good things with deck construction lately, went on some winning sprees. I hope to continue this trend.

Note 1: Mana-base still might need some fixing, debating that right now.

Edit 1: Removed the entire explore package in favor of something more experimental. Totally unsure how its working out, but I just am not getting the things I need fast enough with the explore package.

Edit 2: Added Lyra to the board. Dropped big booty Viv.
