Welcome to my Korvold, Fae-Cursed King deck!

Korvold is a exiting commander with the potential to draw a lot of cards. The main goal of this deck is to gain value from sacrificing your permanents.

How to generate value through sacrificing?

If you sacrifice something you want to get something back from it. This could be a drawing effect or a life drain effect or anything similar. To achchieve this their are a lot of cards included which provide these effects.

  • Korvold, Fae-Cursed King: The Fae-Cursed King himself let you draw cards and also helps you to sacrifice your cards to gain value.
  • Smothering Abomination: This card will let you draw even more cards. It is also usefull if Korvold is to expensive to play.
  • Blood Artist: Bloodartist and similar cards are included to weaken your opponents while you draw cards with Korvold.
  • Kokusho, the Evening Star: A card which is made to sacrifice it, brings a lot of value if you are able to recur it.
  • Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest: While you sacrifice your Korvold fooder it will pump your other creatures.
  • Cavalier of Flame: Probably my favorite card from M20. It could do a lot of damage if you sacrifice it. And with cards like Sylvan Safekeeper or deck:Zuran Orb you can sacrifice all your lands in response to the trigger to do the final punsh.
  • Titania, Protector of Argoth: To gain additional value from sacrificing lands.
  • World Shaper: A really fine card to bring back all your lands you sacrificed earlier.

This deck also includes cards which provides you with Korvold fooder:

How to sacrifice all this fodder?

Next to Korvold himself their are a lot of sacoutlets in this deck for different permanent types:
