With Athreos, God of Passage at helm I want:

• A lot of creatures with good ETB or LTB-abilities like Solemn Simulacrum, Shriekmaw, Kokusho, the Evening Star or Ranger of Eos because I will replay them possibly.
• A lot of creature sacrifice abilities that I benefit from like Martyr of Sands, Disciple of Bolas, Phyrexian Tower and similar cards
• graveyard recursion (if my opponents pay for Athreos' ability) like Oversold Cemetery, Volrath's Stronghold or Karmic Guide and the like
• as creatures will constantly be cast, ETB and LTB I want to benefit from that with cards like Zulaport Cutthroat, extort-cards like Blind Obedience, Grave Pact, Bontu the Glorified and so on

It also can be a little political, whenn you "use" opponent A to get back your Necrotic Sliver or the like to stop opponent B from winning the game.
