Overall an effective combo deck, but feels clunky/sloppy and needs a lot of optimization for consistency. Combos include (in order of priority):

  1. Triskelion + Mikaeus, the Unhallowed
  2. Triskelion & Phyrexian Devourer + Necrotic Ooze
  3. Laboratory Maniac + Hermit Druid or Thought Lash or Tainted Pact or Leveler

I have the deck organized into 7 main categories:

  • Tutor - For queuing up the combo; highest priority, but may have too many in this category as-is.
  • Counter - For board control/threat management while the combo is constructed. Geared towards low mana cost spells as mana is at a premium due to tutoring/reanimating.
  • Draw - Generates card advantage, but is focused on simultaneously pitching cards for reanimation or the Necrotic Ooze combo.
  • Combo - See above for combo priority.
  • Beater - When in need of a quick single player kill, these feed the Mimeoplasm.
  • Ramp - For accelerating mana production to the level needed for comboing off in one turn.
  • Reanimate - To retrieve combo pieces tutored by Entomb / Buried Alive or discarded. Focused on returning to battlefield in order to put combo in play in one turn. The Mimeoplasm serves as an always available reanimate for this purpose.

I haven't playtested this current iteration much but overall I think it needs more speed and consistency. This is my first combo build so any tips from more experienced combo players is greatly appreciated!
