Exchanged Niv-Mizzet, Parun for Impact Tremors CMC was the deciding factor in this change. That and it’ll be doing more damage than Niv could during a game.

Feather, the Redeemed would give buyback to most of your cantrips assuming they can target one of your creatures. Throw Zada, Hedron Grinder in for massive card draw off those same cantrips.

Including more/most of the red cantrips (more so instants) will ensure you'll be able to cast them utilizing Kykar's second ability. Ephara, God of the Polis can net cards using instant speed cantrips on opponent's turns. Goblin Electromancer can make the cantrips cheaper but might not be worth the spot. Firemind's Research could be an interesting include as well.

So how exactly do you finish people off? I see the little pingers and I know Purphoros can make the table go splat. There's gotta be more ways we can abuse all (not just spirits) these free tokens.

Flagellum: feather doesn't actually give "buyback".

Sarkhan420X Nope she doesn't, certainly not the ability. I was simply meaning in effect she gives free "buyback" at the end of the next end step for targeted instant/sorceries on your own creatures. I appear to have forgotten to use quotations (or a different word altogether).

Flagellum: I had Feather in here when I was at 120ish cards. She just happened to get weeded out. I decided to remove her because I didn’t want this deck to be a Feather deck. I already have one of those, which right now happens to be my funnest deck to play. So far in testing, this build runs good without her in it. I do like the idea behind Ephara though. Will have to add her in and test it out.

KayneMarco: Yeah, that's how I feel about running Purphoros, God of the Forge / Impact Tremors in with Kykar as I already run a Purphoros deck.

I'm about to melt a deck and trying to determine what to run instead; something with preferably. Feather is another choice I'm considering but I'm trying to decide if Feather or Kykar would be better. You have experience with both so I'm curious as to what your opinion is. My Kykar list is almost identical to yours that I slapped together before finding you lol.

Flagellum: Kykar I think has the potential to be just as fun as Feather. Realized that in the weeding out process of making this list. Just acquired my Kykar yesterday and am going to start building that today. Gonna take me a couple weeks to get all the cards I’m missing for it. I’m sure based on play testing that it could rival Feather in terms of strength and fun. My Feather deck is quite strong I’ve found out while playing it. I’m actually considered the main threat at the table when I bust out Feather and get that value engine going. You can check out my Feather deck and make some comparisons between your Kykar list and what a focused feather deck looks like. You might be able to make up your mind by comparing the two.

KayneMarco: I may play around with Kykar a bit. But I might try a cheeri0s artifact storm version. Jhoira, Archmage, and Sram are all on color and could get out of hand. Plenty of token opportunities and infinite mana generation... Also I saw an anthem version of Kykar which could actually be quite hilarious. Funny how many ways this guy can be built.

KayneMarco: so I got around to brewing up an artifact storm list if you'd lend me your thoughts:

Not gonna lie, had to copy the deck to actually read the cards, this firework background and the colors around the cards is terrible to try and read it with.

robertron54: what are you viewing the page on? Out of the 3 devices I own I’ve not seen any issues such as what you described.

Mystic Remora and Rhystic Study are 2 sources of easy card draw.

If I'm reading this list correctly it has Kykar both as the commander and in the 99. Am I wrong? Does the paper deck have a descrepancy with this list at all?

Swanky 99, I'm a little surprised its so creature heavy. You have 2 to 3 times as many creatures as the average kykar list. Has it worked out in playtesting?

No Dramatic Reversal for your Isochron Scepter? I don't know whether to applaud or say what ya doin?

Impact Tremors 100% has a home here, just for Purphoros redundancy. You are swimming in tokens. Intangible Virtue would probably be a money card here too. Vigilance is a vastly underrated keyword in a multiplayer game. Cathars' Crusade is another option if you don't mind using fistfulls of dice.

Defiant Strike and Pressure Point are... I don't really know. Feather cards but feather isn't here. Cards like Crash Through , Warlord's Fury , Renegade Tactics , and Psychotic Fury can be taken advantage of better by Kykar. Something along the lines of Faithless Looting , Tormenting Voice , or Magmatic Insight would also work.

Great layout, fun deck, add another +1 to the pile.

redace10: tappedout is currently bugged and any recently edited or newly added decks seem to be affected. The CMDRs appear in the 99 and all the Maybeboard cards get added to the deck. If you add up the totals you'll see there are 114 cards in the deck. Apparently even cards the op didn't add show up in the 99. So that might explain the high amount of creatures. :p

This page hurts my eyeballs. I can't really look at it too long. Maybe make the background less aggressive please?
