If you are looking to keep yourself alive, combo your opponents out, lock the board down, or just bash them to death, Zur the Immortal is up your alley. The deck usually wins through combos like necropotence and approach of the second sun, phage the untouchable and aquaeos form, and traumatize and fraying sanity. You can also make yourself unstoppable by using solemnity and phyrexian unlife/delaying shield. Put a lock on the board using decree of silence and solemnity. Once you start playing this deck, you will quickly become the target of every game in your play group. So cards like propaganda and ghostly prison stem the bleeding against agro decks. Since the cost is relatively low to the ground, we don't include sol ring. The biggest rule of thumb with this deck is to keep zur alive by making him hexproof or giving him shroud. Open to any feedback as well as better cards that come from new sets.
