Ramp:

Between Attune with Aether, Aether Hub and Servant of the Conduit, you should always have the kind of land you need. It also allows for some massive mana ramp and even better if you can pull out an early Chandra, Torch of Defiance (who doesn't want 8 mana on turn 4).

Energy spikes

Our main energy spends are Longtusk Cub and Bristling Hydra with the remainder mostly going to our mana generation abilities. Architect of the Untamed and Lightning Runner as a one-of can have a reasonable impact.

Removal:

The Kaladesh block offers some really cool energy based removal with Harnessed Lightning and Confiscation Coup. Negate and Shock are musts as well.
