"Did you really want to kill that gearhulk??"

So, this is basically just like every other Gearhulk deck, but with a bit of a twist on it.

Early game is full of removal. We have Radiant Flames, Nahiri's Wrath, and Lightning Axe for removal and to get things into the graveyard. We also have Cathartic Reunion and Tormenting Voice for card draw and gearhulk discard.

Now we get into the fun part. We have Refurbish turn 4 to get gearhulks from the graveyard, and using Panharmonicon, we can activate the abilities twice or even three times later in the game. Nahiri, the Harbinger allows you to get these abilities and gearhulks onto the field as fast as possible, along with more discard for gearhulks.

Late game is brutal, with an Ever After /Liliana, the Last Hope combo to get zombies and even more gearhulks, and Cataclysmic Gearhulk for late game board wipes when you're opponent least expects it.

I've been play testing this deck a lot, and the only thing is weak against is Control. I'll try to playtest a few more cards to try and seal up that flaw.

As you guys know, this week was the Standard rotation, and because of that, this deck has become not legal for standard. I would revise this deck, but some of the cards that rotated out were fundamental to how this deck runs. Here is the complete list of cards that are now in Modern.

BFZ- 4x Shambling Vent, 3x Smoldering Marsh, 2x Gideon, Ally of Zendikar, 1x Radiant Flames, 3x Transgress the Mind

OGW- 1x Needle Spires, 2x Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet

SFI- 1x Drownyard Temple, 3x Foreboding Ruins, 3x Ever After, 4x Fiery Temper, 2x Lightning Axe, 3x Nahiri, the Harbinger, 1x Anguished Unmaking, 2x Sorin, Grim Nemesis

EDM- 1x Geier Reach Sanitarium, 1x Nahiri's Wrath, 1x Liliana, the Last Hope

This leaves us with a whopping 27 cards left in Standard. That is a lot of cards gone.

So, I'm going to leave this deck how it is for now. As Ixalan moves through, I'll try to revise this deck the best I can to make it Standard legal, but it's gonna be hard.
