Legacy Belcher is fast paced combo deck built around Goblin Charbelcher it uses fast mana to slam it down early then Lion's Eye Diamond to activate it. As a secondary win condition you can generate enough mana and storm count to cast a big Empty the Warrens and make a lot of goblins. If you can generate six mana but don't have an Empty the Warrens you can tutor up the fourth copy from your sideboard with Burning Wish. This deck has 49 mana sources and 11 win conditions so you can't do much besides try to win turns 1-2. But win or loose your games are going to be very quick. I need some help with the sideboard for the current meta and a budget alternative to Lion's Eye Diamond. I am also thinking of putting in Dark Ritual and Cabal Ritual are they worth the black splash?

Budget Alternatives:

Most of this deck is pretty budget already but there are some cards that are very expensive. The obvious one is Lion's Eye Diamond but I haven't found a budget option yet. For Taiga it is easy a plain old Stomping Ground will do. As for the sideboard you cannot replace Reanimate with anything because reanimate hits Any graveyard. Same with Infernal Tutor it is irreplaceable.

How to Play Legacy Belcher:

So you obviously want to win as early as possible most likely turn one. With this deck you have to mulligan aggressively if a hand doesn't have what it takes ship it away. You can still win turn one with a five card hand. What you should look for when looking at your hand is one of your win conditions, a way to start making mana a card that costs 0 mana and makes 1 mana, and enough other spells that make mana so you can cast your win condition. A good hand may look like this Goblin Charbelcher , Seething Song, Simian Spirit Guide, Chrome Mox, Rite of Flame , Rite of Flame , and Lion's Eye Diamond. This hand let's you make enough mana to cast Goblin Charbelcher and play around Daze. This hand exiles Simian Spirit Guide which makes then casts both rite of flames leaving you with . Then you can cast Seething Song putting you at so you get to cast Goblin Charbelcher and play around Daze. Now you can cast Lion's Eye Diamond sacrafice it then activate your Goblin Charbelcher and hope that Taiga is not in the top 9 cards of the deck.
