So this is a 60-card midrange deck that plays off the interaction between Syndicate Trafficker and Tireless Tracker. Originally, the deck was built to win off the drain triggers and the aggressive attack boosts Trafficker and Tracker got when sacrificing clues or other artifacts. Marionette Master is the main win condition.
The deck has a terrible, terrible match up against aggro as most cards and drains can't keep up with the constant damage output most aggro decks this format, notably Mardu Vehichles, put on board. This deck, I suspect, fares well against control.
I feel like this deck could be extremely powerful (the meta so far has GB Midrange as one of the pillars of the format), but the aristocratic theme is not good enough, though I really want it to be. Zulaport Cutthroat is, IMO, terrible and accomplished little to nothing, but without him the deck is a slow aggro deck. There are other issues as well. I poured all of my budget (around $100) into this deck, and I'd really like it to be at least somewhat competitive for the price-tag.
I'd love to hear opinions on cuts or ideas. I've been looking into cutting Cutthroat and Scrapheap for a playsets of Yaheenni and other aetherborn.
