UPDATE 3/4/2022

After a couple year hiatus, I'm back playing Magic. For a very long time this deck was my baby, but I don't expect this list to change very much anymore as I move on to new commanders. This deck started as a precon, and got pushed further and further along as I had to face a very powerful meta at my LGS. Recently I moved, and my new LGS has a much more calm attitude towards commander. Because of this, I've pulled out some old hate-cards and put back in a few of my favorite old group hug cards. This is basically a 4 color good stuff deck, but I want to keep some of that group hug flavor around.

Since I started playing Magic, I have always wanted to play a group hug deck. Due to this, when the Commander 2016 Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis precon deck came out, I immediately picked up a copy. It was fun to play casually with my play group, but I wanted to start attending FNM more often. I upgraded the deck a bit with some cards that I had and headed to FNM. I then found out that my local EDH meta is very strong. So, over the past few months I have been slowly improving upon this list to the point where I think that it can be semi-viable within my FNM meta. However, as the deck improved it lost what made it a group hug deck. It has now become a 4-color good stuff deck with a couple of group hug cards that I liked too much to part with.

There are a couple of nice synergies in this deck, primarily Avenger of Zendikar/Chasm Skulker + Purphoros, God of the Forge and Reveillark+Karmic Guide+Ashnod's Altar+Mentor of the Meek/Purphoros, God of the Forge for either infinite cards or damage and infinite colorless mana.
