infect creatures green buffs blue counter spells

2nd turn kill! Ex: [Glistener elf][groundswell x2][mutagenic growth] -not my combo.

Basically, you Just try to poison the opponent ASAP. Avoid combat with other creatures and deal poison to the player.

The reason for blue; The [unsummon/vapor snag] strategy is cheap AF and works great to pull your opponent’s blocker/s when they assign them and help the infect damage go through. They can also be used to unsummon your own creatures in worst cases and allow you to cast that creature again from hand. Also, blighted agent is un-blockable which fits nicely.

Hunter’s insight helps later game to replenish your empty hand since all (almost) spells are very cheap mana.

Negate in the sideboard would help against another blue deck.

Very straight forward deck. Not too much going on here but very effective.

Is it just me or is infect over powered? Yes, your limited to a select few creatures to play with... but in return it’s like you get to cast “target player loses 10 life.” For zero mana right at the start of the game. And all the creatures inflict -1/-1 counters as damage which kills “indestructible” creatures. Very very strong ability.

This deck is probably weak against; creature killing/destroying decks and/or decks that prevent combat damage and/or hexproof creature decks(unsummon would lose effect and severely limit your options to sneak poison damage to player)
