Here's my blue tron list for modern. It's been doing ok, but I feel like it could be better. It would make my day for you to view and comment on my deck.
Here's what it does right now:(Budget) Mono blue tron for modern. A sweet mono blue control deck who's goal is to take the game into a long one, and proceed to lock your opponent out with academy ruins + mindslaver, or just spell burst them until they scoop. The way it generates this much mana is by using the tron lands, and expedition map helps you fetch them. Also, when you're not digging for tron anymore, it can also grab your one-of tectonic edge or Academy ruins. The deck also runs a toolbox of heavy hitters to play with our tron mana, facilitated by treasure mage. Wurmcoil engine is huge and hard to deal with, torrential gearhulk buys back an instant, sundering titan to wreck their manabase, and platinum angel as a panic button. Another important part of mono blue tron is the control package, which helps you to stretch the game out. Finally, it runs solemn simulacrums for some ramp, blocking, and card draw, an oblivion stone for a boardwipe you can protect your fatties from.
Sideboard: our biggest issue are fast decks, so we pack ratchet bomb, spatial contortion, and steel wall. We also have tormods crypt for graveyard hate, hurkyls recall for affinity, spreading seas for the mirror or problem lands, pithing needle for Annoying abilities (Im looking at you, Jace). Silent arbiter to hose aggro, and negate against combo and control.

Ps. Is Blue Tron still viable in modern? What are your thoughts? Is there anything about my deck you would change.
Pps. Not running chalice or snapcasters as theyre sooo expensive. Instead of chalice I run the less effective ratchet bomb. Would you recommend a different alternative? Im thinking of trinisphere.
