This is the most recent iteration of pauperstax. This deck lost a lot of its versatility and lethality with the loss of Arcum's Astrolabe. This newer version is focused on a more linear strategy of landing a threat such as Glint Hawk or Keldon Halberdier and using free mana to asymmetrically destroy lands to keep your opponent from playing the game.

Loss of colors and the big bad astrolabe — Oct. 28, 2019

Without astrolabe the deck can no longer support the stupid amount of colors it could before. So we lose important sideboard cards like Hydroblast and Pulse of Murasa. Also we lose a decent amount of value with a lack of grindy card draw.
