GW Vial (Legacy MTG Deck)

This is a casual (although, possible Legacy) GW Maverick deck that uses Aether Vial to power out its threats instead of the usual Green Sun's Zenith. It also lacks Mother of Runes, which might be a mistake, but I like the utility of Phyrexian Revoker and Qasali Pridemage. And since I don't have the GSZ to tutor for pridemage, I included the full set.

I need to pick up a set of Thalia if I were to make this competitive. She's in the maybeboard with some other cards that would go in, were I to take this to a Legacy tourney.

I'm not sure about Dryad Arbor. It acts as a mana accelerator in GSZ Maverick, but not so much here. I mean, it CAN if I play a vial turn one, I can vial Dryad Arbor in. But that is a bit inconsistent. It might just become a forest.

I also feel like I need either another Jitte or another Sword. Most of my threats are small(ish), and one of the main strengths of the deck is Serra Avenger + equipment. So I might need to have at least one more weapon for my dudes to wield. Not sure what to take out though.

So, I'm testing out Watchwolf in the strangleroot's place. Strangleroot just didn't seem to fit and I'd like him in another deck right now. I know Fleecemane Lion is strictly better, but I already have the wolves.

If watchwolf turns out to be just another beater and not contributing much (which seems likely), I'm going to try out Aven Squire. He flies, holds a sword well, and buffs others if they attack alone. Given how much exalted I have and how only attacking with one flyer with a swords seems completely reasonable, I'm thinking he might be better that the wolf. Still in the testing mode though.

I am also adding a few utility lands: Gavony Township and Rogue's Passage. If I ever get a Yavimaya Hollow, that will go in as well.
