Zombie Hunt is a deck that uses Treasure Hunt to dig deep for cards, and then uses Zombie Infestation to win the game. The deck cannot risk drawing anything other then Zombie Infestation or another Treasure Hunt so the deck gets most of it's utility through it's lands.

MAINDECK BREAKDOWN:

• Treasure Hunt lets us draw a lot of cards, since we only play 6 nonland cards. This is because we cannot include any other nonland cards since we might run into them when Treasure Hunting. Another thing in mind is that you cannot keep a hand without a Treasure Hunt in it pretty much all the time. Mulligan to 3, 2, 1, you need it! It draws enough cards to discard when you find your Zombie Infestation and also finds it.

• Zombie Infestation, our main win condition! We use most if not all of the cards we draw from Treasure Hunt for this. The fact that it costs 0 mana to activate makes it the ideal choice, along with how we can make the zombies at instant speed.

• DUAL LANDS & FIXING: Temple of Deceit, River of Tears, and Watery Grave are dual lands that fix our mana, and also do other things. River of Tears is better in this deck then most because of the large amount of lands we play, which lets us always pick the type of mana we want. Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth makes it so we have all of the black mana we could need.

• UTILITY LANDS: Reliquary Tower makes it so we don't have to discard after Treasure Hunting. It is extremely important to wait before playing a land when casting Treasure Hunt if you don't have a Reliquary Tower already in play. Contested War Zone allows us to boost our zombies if we don't have enough of them dealing enough damage. Bojuka Bog can help against graveyard strategies. Halimar Depths helps prepare for what's next, and can filter our draws. Mystifying Maze helps against decks that are lookling to win with one big creature finisher, like control decks attacking with a Death's Shadow, Celestial Colonnade or Spell Queller. Ghost Quarter and Tectonic Edge blow up lands like Celestial Colonnade or Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle. Boseiju, Who Shelters All dodges counterspells for Treasure Hunts. Dakmor Salvage lets us return it if we are desperate, but also makes it so we can't be milled. What we do is instead of drawing a card we will put the top 2 cards of our library into our graveyard, then return it instead. We can then discard it to Zombie Infestation to do it again next turn. It doesn't matter if there is nothing left, we still can do this and avoid having to draw from our empty library. Oboro, Palace in the Clouds can help become fodder for a Zombie Infestation activation if we already played it and can also dodge a land destruction effect. Leechridden Swamp is another clock and can be used against lantern control players when they have us locked down with Ensnaring Bridge. And finally we have Tolaria West that can tutor any of our utility lands, fixing lands, or man lands if we need them. It can also go get a basic land in case our opponent is playing Blood Moon & friends.

• OTHER WIN CONDITIONS/MAN LANDS: Creeping Tar Pit is a very good secondary win condition as it is a decent sized body that is unblockable. Faerie Conclave is evasive and acts kind of like Creeping Tar Pit as flying is hard to deal with. And finally Mutavault has a cheap activation cost and comes into play untapped.

• Islands and Swamps because Blood Moon and Path to Exile effects are a thing, and basics are good.

SIDEBOARD BREAKDOWN:

• Bojuka Bog for decks that play with their graveyard.

• Boseiju, Who Shelters All for anti-countermagic.

• Erratic Mutation kills a lot of things like Young Pyromancer, Dark Confidant, and Delver of Secrets  . It also acts as another Treasure Hunt to draw cards.

• Quicksand acts as tutorable removal.

• Mystifying Maze to further punish decks that go in on one non-hexproof/shroud creature.

• Radiant Fountain is good against Burn and Aggro decks.

• Tectonic Edge for more anti-land cards.

• Tolaria West for more tutoring.

GOOD, MEH, AND BAD MATCHUPS (10 being best matchup 1 being worst):

• Grindy decks like Jund and Abzan won't like being in a long game filled with hard to deal with lands and lots of zombies. But the amount of removal can be annoying so it is like a 7.

• Control, is surprisingly, a 6.5. Countermagic & discard does not work as well when we have so many uncounterable lands for the long game that can be used against them.

• Decks like Scapeshift/Titanshift are iffy. If they get down a Primeval Titan before we have done anything important then we are dead. It is a 6.25.

• Tron can get out big finishers fast and if they do before you're prepared, then you will die. But there are land destruction cards throughout the deck, so we have ways to limit it. This match is a 6.

• Tempo is probably a 5.9. We have many things to deal with them and getting a spell countered isn't that big of a deal when we have our lands. But they are very fast so we have to be careful.

• Graveyard strategies like Dredge and Living End can go out of control very fast. If we can't control them a bit by turn 4 then we are probably dead. It's a 5.25.

• Burn is very annoying and can kill us fast. It is a 3 on the scale.

• Any creature-based Aggro deck puts a constant clock on us, and is more irritating then Burn. This is a 2.5.

• Combo decks like Storm and Ad Nauseum can kill us very quickly and we have barley any interaction for combo available. It is a 2.
