This isn't a typical Animar deck. I like the simic growth of +1/+1 counters with the splash of red. The goal is to grow my small creatures to grotesque sizes and swing for BIG DAMAGE. I of course have the back up of late game finishers in the form of the Eldrazi Titans(minus Emrakul). I like the combo of Hardened Scales + Zameck Guildmage being able to drop creatures on board with two counters off of each instance of Zameck's first skill (If that's how it works). Borborygmos is a spicy inclusion in my eyes. A nice final push for game giving my creatures more counters when he hits. I added some bounce tricks with Ancestral Statue and Cloudstone Curio. Cloud of Faeries can become essentially a one blue to untap all my lands with the help of the Statue and Curio. Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir + Vexing Shusher offer some great protection from my opponents wanting to respond to my plays. Any and all suggestions are welcome, keep in mind I would like to stick with my +1/+1 counter generation theme.

The land base is where I get lost. I know color distribution, but utility lands I'm clueless on, so suggestions are welcome. Thoughts on how certain cards may not work as intended or better options are welcome tips as well.

All in all I think the deck looks nice on paper, though it may not look it to most. My last commander was Xenagos, God of Revels and after a while I wanted to step outside of my comfort zone a bit. A friend suggested I add blue to the colors I know rather than pick up a whole new color set up, thus Animar was born. Again suggestions are always welcome, I love hearing about new cards that I had no idea existed.
