Like zombies? Awesome, me too!

Zombies in modern are an absolute blast to play, and are pretty competitive when piloted correctly.This deck is trying to capitalize on Collected Company to build a swarm of zombies that get increasing difficult to deal with. I put this list together based upon Saffron Olive's (MTGGOLDFISH) budget magic list. I feel that I have made a few improvements, especially in the sideboard.

I'm still making improvements on the deck as well as testing different combinations and strategy.If you have any input that you think could strengthen the deck please post it below, and I will try to respond as quickly as possible.

Synergies

Gravecrawler Show

GC is great to use as a discrad because it has the ability to bounce out of your yard as long as you have another zombie. This makes it perfect make tokens with Cryptbreaker.

Collected Company Show

This inclusion is a no brainer. Collected Company is the card that makes ok tribals into good tribals

The Lords

Death Baron Show

Death Baron makes our tribe much harder to deal with. Not only does it hand out +1/+1 to the team, but he also supply's everybody with death touch

Lord of the Undead Show

LOU is pretty good at making all of our zombies bigger as well as one other detail. He gives us the option to get zombies from our graveyard back to our hand. This ability can be used in a few different ways. You can use it to get back a Death Baron, or to bring back a Gravecrawler just to feed it back to the Troll.

Lord of the Accursed Show

Lord of the Accursed's main job is to help us swing it through in the late game with its ability to give the team menace

Playing the deck

Your Hand Show

Starting, ideally you want an opening hand that contains the following:Gravecrawler Birds of Paradise or Cryptbreaker

Having a lord in hand is pretty good, especially if you are able to turn one a Bird

Depending on your matchup, having some removal is always a good thing.

2-3 mana is normally enough to get the ball rolling. keeping with just 2 can be risky, but holding Collected Company or a Bird can make some iffy hands keepable

Mulligan relatively aggressivley, as getting a board prescense early is vital for your strategy.

In testing, this deck has been met with good success. The obvious strategy is to beat face as quickly as you can. However this can always change dependent on your match up. I'm going to be uploading more details on the match ups and side boarding in the coming weeks after I do some testing.
