This deck is a meme.

It was built with one thing in mind:

1. All nonland cards are 1 CMC.

In order to make this deck even remotely functional, the game plan is split into two parts.

Hope of Ghirapur Voltron

In most games turn one will be "land" + Hope of Ghirapur.

As it turns out, a lot of equipment have a CMC of 1. Some all-star equipment for the thopter are:

1. Ghostfire Blade - the most efficient equipment for colorless creatures
2. Skyblinder Staff - who plays cards with reach anyways
3. Masterwork of Ingenuity - copy the next best equipment on the battlefield for 1 mana

If the board gets wiped and Hope of Ghirapur gets too expensive to recast, there is always plan 2.

Lantern Control

Typical Lantern Control has 4 main pieces that make up the mill component:

1. Lantern of Insight
2. Ghoulcaller's Bell
3. Codex Shredder
4. Pyxis of Pandemonium

All of these pieces are CMC 1. Some additional mill pieces available in Commander are:

1. Grindstone
2. Altar of the Brood

Most of the mill pieces can be used in combination with Lens of Clarity to control your draws.
