Maybeboard

Hey gang, welcome to my sliver deck! This deck functions around three different combos, two that allow me to get infinite mana(sort of) and play out my entire library to swing for around 1800 unblockable damage in one turn. Both combos require a few pieces in play to work consistently, The First Sliver , a draw engine like Beast Whisperer , and a few slivers in play to ensure I can get my engine going. The third just dumps my library onto the board.

Now for the Combos, the first and easiest to pull off is to have something that turns my slivers into mana dorks like Gemhide Sliver or Cryptolith Rite along with Intruder Alarm . This allows me to tap my slivers to cast more slivers which untaps all of my slivers and puts more cards in my hand. Rinse and repeat for the win.

The second combo requires Morophon, the Boundless and Mana Echoes once both are in play each sliver cast gives me an ever increasing amount of colorless mana and since I wont ever have to pay their colored cost, they are essentially free and drawing me cards each time. As with the first combo play out the library and swing for the win.

The third combo uses Maskwood Nexus to turn all of my slivers into changelings and then using and The World Tree I can put them all onto the board from my library.

Because slivers are such a target and incredibly weak to board wipes, I've chosen to forego most protection. The way I see it letting my opponent think they have me contained until I can surprise them works in my favor. Instead I've focused on ensuring that my slivers are able to be sacrificed as a last resort to ensure that they aren't exiled incase someone targets a key piece. Then I can simply recur them later with something like Eerie Ultimatum .

Because I often plan on mass recursion, card draw becomes tricky because anything that lacks a "may" clause could force me to draw my deck and loose. To help with my limited draw choices I've included a bunch of low cost tutors that I almost always cast for free off of cascade. This benefits me two fold as it helps me keep my hand full and allows me to get my missing combo piece or whatever the biggest sliver I can find is to get the most out of my next cascade.

While the deck does have it's weaknesses given the required number of pieces to combo off and weakness to board wipes, I love it's flavor and the feeling of overrunning the board out of nowhere really does make me feel like I command the swarm!
